Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy? Chris is remarkably average in appearance. 5'8", about 140 pounds, he's just. basically average looking as hell.

2. How old is he? Sixteen in the start of the canon.

3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch? He doesn't slouch but he tends to lean to the side, tilt his head, generally be a bit crooked in how he holds himself. He prefers standing to sitting in most cases and when he does sit it's usually more flopping over something in some weird way.

4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? No physical disabilities or conditions, he's normally healthy though not a shining example of health. At the start of the canon he's not particularly fit but all the work they have to do in canon surviving makes him much stronger.

5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Sneaky. He's very quiet with how he moves and has a tendency of surprising people, even when he doesn't mean to. It's not exactly grace, like his posture he's just a bit crooked in how he moves.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror? Most people would consider him fairly attractive, but his closed off demeanor and general frigidness tends to put people off. Even if it would usually be considered ~mysterious~ he has a way of making people feel uncomfortable very quickly so most wouldn't consider him all that attractive, even if his features aren't unpleasant ones.

He doesn't spend a lot of time considering himself in the mirror, he'd be largely apathetic to how he looks. He's had some really unfortunate haircuts let's just say :|

7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? Light, not exactly pale but he's generally very scandinavian looking with his features.

8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style. Blonde, almost faded, light sort of blonde, with messy hair. It's a little bit wavy and tends towards being disheveled even if he cared enough to keep it neat.

9. What color are his eyes? Dark blue, definitely more dark looking than bright.

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features? Nope, boring as fuck.

11. What are his chief tension centers? He's prone towards headaches when stressed, lesser so in his shoulders.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit? Casual, fairly cheap due to his family/sister's budget. He almost always wears jeans, never wears shorts, likes longer sleeves over t-shirts but wears each as the weather permits. He has one jacket that he's had for almost three years and probably needs to be retired.

13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them? Since he buys fairly cheap, WalMart like clothes they tend to be just a bit big on him.

14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences? He doesn't have a job, and would likely not bother dressing differently if he did.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? Monotone, almost droning, leaning just a bit towards the deep end rather than high-pitched.

2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate? He speaks evenly, again very droning monotone. He rarely stumbles over words, and usually leans towards staying quiet.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? Nope.

4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency? English is his only fluent language, he's taken/taking high school Italian and has an interest but no actual study in German.

5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations? Nope.

6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words? He's a good impromptu speaker, when he does have a spiel to give he usually does it with ease for the most part.

7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? He's very to the point usually, or sarcastically convoluted. When he simply doesn't understand something he gets silent or short.



Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart? Chris isn't particularly book-smart or street-smart, any cleverness he has is usually shown in problem solving. He's very good at coming up with creative, sometimes bizarre ways to deal with a situation. Otherwise he's about average with a leaning towards just a bit clever if his interest is piqued.

2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate? A little of both, though he prefers to have a bit of time to deliberate, even if it's a very short amount.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Chris is very much an 'in the moment' sort of guy. He is usually very logical and clinical with his thought process but he very, very rarely focuses on a longterm goal. That said, when he does focus on a goal he does so with the kind of annoying, stubborn persistance that would make you want to punch him.

4. What kind of education has the character had? Public schooling, currently in high school.

5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about? Music is one of Chris's few interests and one of the few things he puts any effort in. He has a good ear for music and a knack for composing but otherwise isn't particularly talented at playing/learning instruments.

6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert? Introvert.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? Cold, quiet, rather monotone to most people, sharp with his words and mostly rather disinterested and detached. With people he likes he can be a bit more talkative and less sharp.

8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? He's usually massively disinterested and probably comes off as bored or, simply, rude as fuck.

9. Is he more likely to act, or to react? React.

10. Which is his default: fight or flight? Flight.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? He tends to enjoy people making asses of themselves or shock value. Completely bizarre things also can amuse him.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them? He fixes his sociopath by being chan.

13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
- Merkuur's voiding
- meeting/befriending Alice and Percy
- stealing Merkuur's sense of time/realizing ~*~things~*~

14. What does he fear? losing Percy and Alice, occasionally his own actions/reactions, water

15. What are his hopes or aspirations? Protecting Percy and Alice, otherwise not much, he doesn't care much for dwelling on the future.

16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him? He'd prefer if Percy and Alice didn't find out some of the worst stuff he's done, but it's not a secret he'd guard to his grave. The only thing he is uneasy about and tends to hide is what he did to Merkuur.



Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents. Bad. His parents don't know what to do about him, he's completely unable to be empathetic to others and more so he can be flat out dangerous. It got to the point that they wanted to send him away somewhere but he ended up with his sister instead. After that he and his parents saw each other less and less.

Chris is largely apathetic about his parents and always acts like he is. Underneath a lot of that he's actually hurt and disappointed in them and himself, and maybe a bit angry. Even if they were still around later in canon it's doubtful they'd ever have a good relationship again.

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? Chris has an older sister, Mary. They're relationship is very good- Mary can deal with him for long periods and he respects Mary despite some of what he says. Mary seems to have an almost supernatural ability to deal with the massive amount of bullshit that is Chris, though they can occasionally have fights, usually to do with Chris's safety or the safety/happiness of Chris's friends.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand? He was close to his grandfather when he was younger, who passed away when Chris was seven. Otherwise he doesn't see any other family he may have very often.

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them? None, possibly his sister's boyfriend who may or may not become a real character, haven't decided yet.

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? His best friends are Percy and Alice, who saved his sorry life for reasons that are still speculated about.

6. Does he have other close friends? No.

7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people? He has only made two real friends in his entire life. He sucks at friendship.

8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends? Percy and Alice.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once? Single as fuck all

10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? No, he has a crush though.

11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest? His only real crush is Alice Barker. Swoon.

12. What does he look for in a romantic partner? The ability to not punch him for existing. (aka nothing, he doesn't look)

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any? None and god no, he'd be the worst parent and he knows it.

14. Does he have any rivals or enemies? Zwenoch for trying to steal his gay love interest, Amorach hates him but he enjoys being rude to her. Merkuur, lmao. Bad relationship.

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale? Probably about a 2-3, he doesn't really care enough for attraction most of the time.

16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him? It's not important to him at all.

17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits? No answer here, he's ~untainted~



Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type? He fits Capricorn fairly well, though less relaxed and more cold. He's a wood Dog for chinese zodiac which seems to fit.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life? He is not religious and he is not spiritual. He doesn't believe in god and that's all there really is to say about that :|b

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? Chris has a very particular personal code that I've only really decided one thing about, and that one thing is he always repays his debts. This is because when he was younger his parents instilled that moral in him, and even if his happiness is all skewed he can still feel bad if he doesn't pay someone back, it's a more material emotion he doesn't need empathy for so. yes. He always pays back a debt.

4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? He'll troll people horribly but largely he doesn't care. It's not something that's important in his life so why would he care about it in other people's?

5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them? He's not really prejudiced against anyone. This headcanon may be subject to change.



Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? Poor/lower middle class. He lives with his sister who is a waitress and has any number of second jobs occasionally and his parents only send money when they really need it.

2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him? Low middle class, when he lived with his parents it was more middle class.

3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others? He lives in a cramped apartment that may be small but is really well lived in and cozy thanks to his sister. Even though it's small it's a good hang out place because of this.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on? Music (he illegally downloads most of that) and he'll save for a long, long time for nicer tech, such as computers or ipods. Also headphones, he goes through those really fast.

5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else? He is an asshole for a living and is very good at his job.

6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time? Mostly he spends time with Alice and Percy or doing the bare minimum of his schoolwork. Other than that he likes to play around on composing programs like garage band and write music, though very, very few people get to see/listen to it.

7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? He skips meals a lot and eats out a lot because his sister is usually working. When she's home she does cook for them. He hates fish.
